Image Watermark
Batch text or logo watermarks with free placement, snapping, tiling and presets.
Your files never leave your device. Everything runs in your browser.
What Image Watermark does
Image Watermark stamps a text or logo watermark across your photos in a batch, with control over position, size, opacity, rotation and blending. It is the practical way to brand previews before sending them to a client, mark proofs, or add a visible credit line before publishing images online.
Text mode offers ten fonts with outline and shadow options, which keeps the mark readable on both light and dark photos. Logo mode scales and blends an uploaded PNG, and its blend modes (Multiply, Screen, Overlay and others) help a transparent logo sit naturally on the image.
A 3×3 position grid or free dragging with snapping places the watermark precisely, and the tiled pattern option repeats it across the whole photo. Settings can be saved as presets in your browser for consistent marks across projects.
How to use Image Watermark
- Drop one or more images onto the page, or click the dropzone to browse.
- Choose Text and type the watermark (for example © Your Name), pick a font, weight, size, colour and opacity, and enable Outline or Shadow if the photo is busy.
- Or choose Logo / image, upload a PNG logo, then set its scale, opacity and blend mode.
- Place the watermark with the 3×3 position grid or drag it freely; guides snap to margins and the centre. Fine-tune with the margin and rotation controls.
- Optionally enable Tiled pattern and adjust spacing and angle to cover the whole image.
- Choose the output format and quality, click Apply to all images, then download files individually or as a ZIP. Save the settings as a preset if you will reuse them.
Features
- Text watermarks with ten fonts, bold weight, size percentage, colour, opacity, outline and shadow.
- Logo watermarks with scale, opacity and blend modes including Multiply, Screen, Overlay and Luminosity.
- Precise placement via a 3×3 grid, free dragging with snap guides, margin control and rotation up to ±180°.
- Tiled pattern mode for repeating watermarks across an entire image.
- Presets saved in your browser so the same watermark style can be reused across sessions.
- Batch processing in a worker with per-file downloads, ZIP export and a 40 MB per-file limit.
Tips and common mistakes
- A corner watermark at 50–70% opacity looks professional; full opacity and a huge size make photos look like adverts.
- Enable outline or shadow when the area behind the text has both dark and light patches.
- For proofs, use the tiled pattern diagonally across the middle — it is much harder to crop out than a corner mark.
Frequently asked questions
Will a watermark stop people from removing it?
No watermark is unremovable. A visible mark mainly discourages casual reuse and makes credit obvious. For stronger deterrence, use a semi-transparent mark across the subject rather than a small corner logo.
Why does my logo lose transparency in the export?
JPEG has no transparency support, so transparent areas become solid. Export as PNG or WebP to keep a transparent logo looking right. If you chose JPEG, the logo's transparent pixels are composited onto the image, which usually still looks correct.
Are saved presets synced to other devices?
No — presets are stored only in the browser you created them in, and the tool states this next to the preset controls. On another device or browser you will need to recreate them.
Can I use different watermark positions for different images in one batch?
The batch applies one set of watermark settings to every queued file. For individual placements, process images one at a time or run them through separate batches.
What size should the text be?
The size is a percentage of the image width, so 5–8% is a good starting point for a single-line credit. Very small exports can make a percentage-based watermark look thin; raise the size or enable outline for legibility.
